2015 Charles Pillsbury Peacemaker Award Reception

The Pillsbury Peacemaker Award is named in honor of Charles A. Pillsbury, currently a Professor at Quinnipiac School of Law and Co-Director of ADR as well as prior Executive Director of CM.  Charlie is known throughout this community for his tireless work promoting peace, justice and conflict resolution.

This year’s Pillsbury Peacemaker Award recipient Bruce Barrett, IWagePeace is being honored for promoting peace in the community:

Bruce Barrett

Bruce graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University in 1985 with a B.S. in Applied History and Industrial Management.
While building the family billboard business he learned about peace making. In 2006 he created the www.IWagePeace.Org website as a primer on active non-violent peacemaking. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the National Religious Campaign Against Torture in Washington, D.C. as treasurer.

A reception is scheduled on May. 27, 2015 starting at 5:30 p.m. at The New Haven Lawn Club, 193 Whitney Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511.  After the event at 6:30 we will be showing and discussing Bruce’s film “The Billboard From Bethlehem”

Tickets for individuals are $50.00 each. ($30 of which is tax deductible)
