wide range of classes throughout the year on all levels. We also offer
discounts for those who would like to enroll in more than one course. If

Community Mediation offers a variety of adult training programs. We tailor the design of each training to meet the needs of our clients. Training is available in the areas of Mediation, Conflict Management Skills, Communication Skills, and Facilitation. Our training programs range from one-hour workshops to four-day training sessions. Trainings are highly interactive and include large and small group discussion, exercises, and roleplays. If you would like more information, contact Larie McGruder.

We offer 15-hour peer mediation trainings plus implementation assistance to middle and high schools. Training topics include:
- Introduction to conflict and conflict management styles
- Communication skills. including active listening, I statements, and open questions
- Bias and conflict
- Dealing with anger and angry people
- The six-stage mediation process
Trainings are highly interactive and include large and small group discussion and activities worksheets, games and roleplays. We also provide workshops on conflict resolution for all grade levels. For more information, contact Larie McGruder. |
*The fee for each 16-hour training is $400. Intro to Mediation Training AND Mediation Certification Training package is $700.
